SMS Messaging Terms of Service

These SMS Messaging Terms of Service ("SMS Terms") govern your participation in the text messaging program operated by Alpine Pool Covers, a brand of Pools Covered LLC. By opting in to receive SMS messages from us, you agree to these SMS Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. SMS Program Description & Messaging Use Cases

Alpine Pool Covers operates an SMS messaging program to communicate with customers regarding our automatic pool cover products and services. We send two categories of messages:

Transactional / Service Messages

Appointment confirmations, reminders, and scheduling updates
Installation and service visit notifications (e.g., "Your technician is on the way")
Service completion summaries and follow-up care instructions
Warranty reminders and seasonal pool cover maintenance alerts
Responses to inquiries submitted through our website or phone

Marketing & Promotional Messages

Special offers, seasonal discounts, and limited-time promotions
New product announcements and upgrade opportunities
Customer referral program communications

Transactional and marketing messages require separate opt-in consent. Message frequency varies: transactional messages are sent as needed based on your service activity; marketing messages are sent no more than 4 times per month.

2. How to Opt In

You may opt in to our SMS program by checking the SMS consent checkbox on any web form or booking page on poolscovered.com. Consent is always optional — you are never required to agree to SMS messages as a condition of purchasing our products or scheduling a service. Opt-in checkboxes are never pre-selected.

3. How to Opt Out — Text STOP

      Text STOP to any SMS message from Alpine Pool Covers at any time to cancel. You will receive one final confirmation text. No further messages will be sent until you re-subscribe. To re-subscribe, opt in again through any form on our website.

5. Message & Data Rate Disclosures

      Message and data rates may apply. Standard SMS and data charges from your mobile carrier may apply to messages you send to us and messages we send to you. These charges are determined by your individual mobile plan and are not controlled by Alpine Pool Covers. For questions about your text or data plan, contact your wireless provider.
    

6. Carrier Liability Disclaimer

Mobile carriers (including AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of SMS messages is subject to your network operator's transmission and is outside Alpine Pool Covers' control. We are not responsible for delays, failures, or errors caused by your wireless carrier, network congestion, or technical outages.

7. Age Restriction — 18+ Only

      You must be 18 years of age or older to participate in the Alpine Pool Covers SMS program. By opting in, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly send marketing messages to individuals under 18. If we become aware that a minor has opted in, we will promptly remove them from our messaging lists.
    

8. No Sharing of SMS Opt-In Data

      Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent will NOT be sold, rented, shared, or transferred to any third party for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This information is used solely to communicate with you from Alpine Pool Covers.

11. Changes to These SMS Terms

Alpine Pool Covers reserves the right to update these SMS Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via SMS or posted to our website with an updated effective date. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance.
